I am using exchange server 2003 for our email server. Our company recently went through a name change so I have to add additional email addresses for all our users. I added the new address to the default recipient policy and made it the default email address. I left the original address as well.

I am using SpamTitan as a spam filter and it relays valid emails to the exchange server. The Exchange server is on address 10.0.0.13

For some reason, messages are occasionally being dropped. If I look at the log files from SpamTitan, for a particular day I found over 70 emails successfully delivered to a particular user and 5 failures to that same recipient with the following error

Recipient address rejected: undeliverable address: host 10.0.0.13[10.0.0.13] said: 550 5.1.1 User unknown (in reply to RCPT TO command);

Does anyone know why this may be happening? I have send a number of test emails from various domains and they always get through.

I can not find any logs on the Exchange server  for these rejections. Where would I look to find these?

Thanks
Shawn
