I have a problem when sending e-mails to a particular domain. I am able to receive mail from this person so I know it is a genuine address. The message returned from my exchange server is as follows:

r Outbound mail is working fine otherwise. It seems to with this site only for us that I am aware of, I guess until the next one comes along. Does any one have any suggestions on what may be causing this ? Would it be DNS related perhaps?

Thanks.

Could very well be DNS related. Check  the queues, try and telnet to the recipient mail server and  check the DNS settings.

I did an nslookup (mx type)of hanmail.com (the receiving domain we are having problems with) and the dns records returned OK. I was not able to telnet the mx servers as they were saying they had spam protection and would not allow my telnet connection (I did try it from home though because I think our firewall at work wasn't letting the telnet replies back in).
I will try and configure a firewall rule to let me test from work. In the mean time, are there any more suggestions out there ?

Thanks.
