uno -> Exchange 2007 and ISA 2006 OWA Issues (3.Apr.2009 1:50:17 AM)

Hi guys,

I have been trying this for about 3 weeks and its driving me crazy.

I have followed this

" http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/mobility-client-access/publishing-exchange-client-access-isa-2006-complete-solution-part3.html "

article perfectly, and I still cannot get it to work.

I can get the basic exchange webpage to login, but always the credentials fail, (i think the domain controllers are rejecting LDAP requests?) and if I switch off Authenticated Users, and add All Users (supposeably straight to the exchange server itself) the webpage no longer pops up.

I am getting these Event IDs Errors:

With Authenticated Users:
LDAPS doesn't seem to work, errors are:
21286

Without Authenticated Users, using ALL users:
14200

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? or if anyone can help that would be great.

Bruno

If you are using FBA on the ISA, you must turn it off on the CAS.

Other than that, I would be stumped also.

No its not an FBA issue, just double checked but it all is configured correctly.

Here are the errors\warnings I get on event viewer on the ISA box.

Event ID 21286
Source Microsoft ISA Server Web Proxy
Type Warning
Description The LDAP server "<server name>" did not respond. If the server is physically reachable and a secure (SSL) connection is required this event may be caused by failure of the SSL handshake. This event may also occur when the credentials used to connect to the LDAP server to verify the status and change the password of an account are rejected by the server

For more information see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Event ID 14200
Source Microsoft Web Proxy
Type Error
Description ISA Server failed to establish an SSL connection with <IP>. The target principal name is incorrect.
