fjumayao -> Selective auto forward by Outlook rule (6.Apr.2009 5:03:51 AM)

I am running Exchange 2007 with Outlook 2007 clients. I want to leave  Auto reply and auto forward disabled as defaulted.  But I want to selectively allow a few users the capability of using auto forward via Outlook rules.  Is that possible?  [8|]

Best regards,
Fred Jumayao

It is possible, but for that to work the below should be true:

1. The user who you are trying to allow specifically should have a different primary domain.
2. There should be domain created for that particular domain in the "Internet Message Formats" and settings specified as necessary.

I have the same problem as Fred.Could you please be more explicit on the way the settings should be and at which transport level ?

Well the Auto-reply, OOO etc are  SMTP domain specific, so in order to allow only a particular set of users to have the capability to send these reports and kind of mails, create a seperate domain for them and and apply the email address to them alone.!!!
