Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprse sp2
Exchange Server 2003 sp2

Hello, We have exchange installed on server EX00 and I have just installed exchange on to a second (new) server EX01, in readiness to move all mailboxes to the new installation. The install went fine, when prompted to create new or join existing domain, I joined the existing domain, finished the install and upgraded to SP2 - no probs so far.

On the new server (EX01), i loaded system manager, under the server tree was able to see both servers EX00 and 01, as a test i moved a single mailbox across, this went OK. As I am not ready to roll with the new installation just yet I tried to move the mailbox back - this is when the problem starts. This process fails with event IDs 9175, 9168 and 1008 - stating that the information store cannot be opened, MAPI  provider failed.

I have now also noticed that when i load system manager on the original server (EX00) under the server tree the new server (EX01) is not present, although both are present on the new server.

Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
