horinius -> Should I defrag first or check integrity first? (17.Apr.2009 4:37:48 PM)

Because two days ago I've got this "bad" mailbox in the private storage that I can't purge, I think maybe I'd need to do a defrag and an integrity check.  Actually, I've done a defrag to both public and private stores few years ago, but since I could only do it manually and it took very long time (about 18 hours), I couldn't defrag it all this time.

I'm wondering if I should defrag first or check integrity first.  I suppose I can't do both at the same time, right?

Did you run the Cleanup Agent?
What error do you get?
What events appear in the Application Log?
How large is your mailbox store?

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I had run Cleanup Agent, but there's no error, at least no error dialog popped up.  It's only when I want to purge a red-crossed mailbox that I got error (cf below).

The private store database file is:
priv1.edb = 11.7GB
priv1.stm = 4.27GB

I'm using SBS2000 server, so the private store has almost reached the limit as I understand it.

For the other questions, I had posted the informations in another thread:
