I have recently installed Exchange 2007 on Windows 2008 servers.  I have CAS/HT roles on 2 of my servers: Mail5 and Mail6.  I have purchased a 3rd party SSL certificate thru Entrust.

Currently users have their mobile devices setup to go https://mail.domain.com    to synchronize their phones.  That is my OWA address for Exchange 2003.

I have followed the instructions at http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrmobility/thread/d76dfb03-1f66-4dd1-8854-509535e442fc   to setup my new IIS 7 default website to redirect users to /exchange.

I also found this article: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/01/05/432079.aspx

However, when I go to My Exchange 2003 server, Activesync properties, everything is greyed out.

I would like to not have the users have to change anything on their mobile devices and still use the same link https://mail.domain.com

Once I change the DNS to point the A record to the new IP address, then the link will redirect them to /exchange on the new 2007 Exchange and if I use a web browser, I can successfully login to the Exchange 03 or 07 mailboxes.

I'm just not sure if Windows Mobile devices can use that same link or if they have to be redirected to /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync.

The current config in my CAS servers under Exchange ActiveSync is:

https://mail6.domain.com/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync
https://mail5.domain.com/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync
