Hi,
I recently migrate from exchange 2003 to exchange 2007.
I have a problem with mainframe sending email through exchange 2007.
The message body is partially dropped

I thought the problem could be format mail, there 's a way to inibit exchange 2007 from making any format control?

thank you for any help or idea
M

Exchange 2007 is more RFC compliant that 2003. And the format control which you want to make is dependent on what is being sent incorrectly from the mainframe.

It is always recommended to correct the mainframe/source rather than correcting the Exchange server and end-up spending more for correcting things broken by this change.

I'm completely agree with you, but it's not so easy to make the customer understand it.
do you know if there' s any way to limit rfc control?
