I am facing 2 issues. The first one is with OWA. I've setup an exchange 2007 with all roles. Everything is working fine but one thing. When I use the OWA (https://dxbexchange) I get this error :
Outlook Web Access did not initialize. An event has been logged so that the system administrator can resolve the issue. Please contact technical support for your organization.
Outlook Web Access was unable to access the Active Directory configuration settings for virtual directory "" under Web site "".

The other issue is with RPC over http/s. I've installed the service and the SSL certificate. When i go to https://dxbexchange/rpc, it asks for a username and password. What do i need to put? I tried everything, even the domain admin username/password. No chance. Even with outlook, it gives me the same box to put a username and password. I know this has to do with RPC, because to test it, I have allowed only port 80 and 443 on the exchange server.
This is locally, I guess that, if I want to access my exchange server with outlook from outside, i have to forward some ports like 6001, 6002 and 6004. Any other?

It sounds likes the installation of the CAS role was not successful. Unfortunately my recommendation would be to run the exchange setup (and it will start in maintenance mode), uncheck the CAS role then rerun setup and select to install the CAS role. If you have already installed update rollups for exchange, then reinstall it as well.
Also check the following posting in TechNet and see if it relates to your issue:
The beauty of Outlook ANyWhere is that no extra ports are required to be opened on the firewall. All you need is port 443 open to the CAS server.
For your second issue, are you using ISA to publish OWA or are you allowing direct connections from the internet to the CAS for OWA? What operating system are you using for your Exchange 2007 CAS role?
