Folks,

It looks like we need to add some additional storage to our new 2007 Exchange sp1 production environment.

It has taken us some time to get ready for our migration and now the existing mailbox size has grown - since my orignial calculations.

We are looking at 450 mailboxes - and want to give each user a 3 GB mailbox size.

I had initially been thinking of a 2 GB limit - folks got way too busy.

Any way to do some on the fly calculations- we are migationg to a new SAN - I just need to figure out the amount of space on the new EMC with the 3 GB average size mailbox with some growth added into it.

Thanks.

In cases where you're using Internal Storage and/or Direct Attached Storage, I would use the MSExchangeTeam Storage Calculator:

Because you'll be using a SAN, I would get the EMC Storage Calculator which will allow you to plugin information about your environment to help you size your storage properly.
