yeminwin -> Multiple OWA URL at CAS (17.Aug.2009 4:30:28 AM)

Hi all,
We are currently using CAS NLB and providing OWA, outlook anywhere and autodiscover service to users. Users' email from another company will be joined to our exchange organization.
So we would like to provide two different URL for their OWA access.
For example: My current URL from owa is https://webmail.abc.com
and I would like to configure https://webmail.def.com

My OWA is published to ISA server 2006.
Currently I am using SAN certificate for autodiscover and OWA. Please kindly provide the steps to configure another URL for OWA.
Do I need to request another SAN certificate to include webmail.abc.com and webmail.def.com ?
Refering to this article http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2008/01/07/447828.aspx

Can someone elaborate more on it?

Thanks
Appreciated.

Hi,

From the CAS server point of view, you can configure only 1 OWA URL for OWA, Outlook Anywhere & Autodiscover on a Single CAS server.

But you always create rules on ISA such that https://webmail.abc.com & https://webmail.def.com point to the same CAS Server. I am not much comfortable on ISA, but you can configure multiple URL on ISA (I guess using something like link translation). I would suggest posting a query on ISAServer.org as well.
