Hi,
One of our users is receiving this message and I can't figure out what is causing it. Any Ideas? What does Syntax error in parameters or arguments mean?

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: Order confiramtion
Sent: 20/08/2009 11:25
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'user@domain.com.tr' on 20/08/2009 11:25
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. Please contact your system administrator.

Are you able to telnet from your exchange hub transport server to the SMTP server of the recipient's domain on port 25?

Looks like some problem with the receiving server. Check for the SMTP commands advertised by the receiving server and try to contact the recipient domain and make them aware of it.

Sorry I haven't explained myself very well. That is a message that a customer has forwarded to me. That is what they get when they send to us sometimes. This is just an example from one customer but it happens from lots of customers and our branches in china.

So to be clear the affending server is our server.

Do you have an exchange-aware antivirus on your exchange server?
how many exchange servers do you have? What roles to they hold?
What is the mail flow topology for inbound mail into your organization?
Do you have an SMTP gateway, spam filter or AV?
