I have a Exchange 2007 SP1 server on a Windows 2003 x64 machine
up till now i have not had any issues recieving emails from the outside...
Spam filtering is done on a Watchguard Firewall.

now i have a company who is unable to send to us... their are configure with 1 HQ and 3 Remotes Offices ...

we can receive emails from the HQ no problem .. but emails from the Remote Offices are not reaching us.. Unless we send an email to then that they can reply to..

they claim it is an issue on our side.. so i have made the following changes... (not safe)

1. I've created a bypass filter firewall rule on my watchguard x1250e which just does a port forward 25 to internal ip.
2. on Exchange i've added the remote office ip address to the Allow List.
3. I've added the remote domain to the Accepted Domain List (just to see if this was the issue)

Still the issue. what can i have missed? or does the issue exist on their end?

Are they external domain with a trust between your domain and theirs?

Do they get any NDR while sending e-mails? What type of accepted domain you have added?

is it authoritative, internal relay domain or external relay domain?
