Have you solved this problem yet? I'm very interested because I'm having similar problems and trying to rectify it. I'm using outlook 2003 on Vista. Everything was fine until I couldn't use my Outlook properly. It started much slower and takes a few minute to navigate through folders. I can read some emails and access most folders but couldn't export/move/copy etc. After a few tries, this message comes up "unable to display the folder. the file x:\...\outlook.pst could not be accessed." when a blank page shows up. I tried to copy/backup the pst file, it's 1.2GB, Windows started copy the file ok, until the last 5 seconds, it shows the file was corrupted or using by another program; I used ScanPST.exe, it claimed pst file corrupt and ruturn no result; I run chkdsk in CMD line, disk is fine; I installed "Outlook Recovery Toolbox", it display all folders and mails but in recovery course, it just copy the pst file which is the same as I copy&paste mannually. I installed Advanced Outlook Repair 2.1, it worked fine now. Successfully reconstructed the pst file!
