Hello,

We migrated SBS 2003 to 2007, we were at the last steps of finalizing the migration when we did a big mistake (well we think it is).

In the section:

" Delete the routing group connectors."

What happens is that we went in Exchange System Manager in the 2003 SBS and instead of deleting the Connectors, we not only deleted the connectors, but accidentally, we deleted the whole routing group of the 2007 exchange group. So the Exchange Routing Group was there but without any routing groups and the "first routing group", which is the 2003 routing group was there with the first routing group.

So We tested to send out an email and it does not work. We will ONLY work with ONE exchange server. So did we do something bad?

We continued with the migration steps and the uninstallation of SBS 2003 on source server, but how can we get that default routing group back ont he SBS 2008 (exchange 2007) ?? Since there is nothing in there now, NO CONNECTORS, NO MEMBERS, no routing group at all ...

Please help.

hi mate,

The first very basic thing which you need to do is doing a health check. Run Exchange Best Practice Analyzer - this should drive you to the right direction.

Still if you face routing group then create it manually http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997292.aspx
