Does this help?! please remember that installing Exchange on a domain controller is never recommended!

Thanks Mate,

I know it's not reccommeded to install Exchnage on DC. But this is for testing bed. I have no other option here

Here is the situation. Why am using this

My processor is 64BIT compatable . am able to load windows server 2008 64 BIT OS as Host operating system. i made it a DC on Windows 2008

After, i installed VMware worksation 6.5 to install the Windows server 2008 as member server to load Exchnage 2007. But no joy.

It giving an error " attempting to load a 64 Bit apllication, however the cpu is not compatable with 64 bit "

it's giving very pain for me.

please help

Have you verified that your CPU supports running 64-bit guest OS?

VMWare actually has a tool that will let you know if your CPU will support 64-bit guest OSes.

http://www.vmware.com/download/ws/drivers_tools.html (down to Processor Check for 64Bit Compatibility)

Also please read this document -> http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1003945
