hi guys
appreciate your feedback and past experience here
small question
scenrio:
1 cluster ccr and 2 hubs on same subnet.
recive and send connector(2 hubs on it).
mail is delivered using a filtering system and then to exchange.
assumptions:
outbound mail is load balanced and fault tolerance.
local mail is load balanced and fault tolerance.
Question:

is inbound mail load balanced.(im thinking no)

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Inbound isn't balanced.
You can NLB the HT if you need. You can set up additional interfaces and NLB those whilst leaving your internal facing ones basically unbalanced.

small question regrading your article
you say add the second hub to the reieve connector
but i think you mean create another reciev connector that sits on the other hub right?

thought about another thing:
if i create one dedicated smtp for inbound email(to be load balanced)
and set anonymous to yes so mail could get in and smtp connections(external coming in) are distributed.
how can i create another smtp for relaying with diffrent permissions(authentications...) for applications?
