I have a few clients that travel and POP mail off the SBS box.  What I need to be able to do is have them send mail through the SBS box to external domains.  I am having trouble finding a clear concise answer to the question.

I don't want to have it relay by allowed IP's.  I want the user to be able to authenticate on the SBS box, accept the mail and then relay it out to the destination domain.

Anyone?

Hi,

Just create an extra receive connector which only allows relaying from authenticated sessions. In Outlook you will define that you will need to authenticate before sending.

Can I get some more detail please.  This is my first SBS 2008 box.

Thanks
