Hello Friends,

I have one requirement as follows:

We have an all in one E2K7 server. Lets say our user is called test and our domain name is abc.com. The external domain name is xyz.com.

Our requirement is that we want a copy of any email sent to or received from xyz.com to be sent to test@abc.com users mailbox.

Meaning, one of our internal users should receive a copy of any email sent to or received from a particular external domain.

How can I achieve this goal?

Regards.

When you say you need a copy of every email sent to xyz.com,  Does any one of the user stamped with that domain name?,

if you need to acheive this
1. Your exchange server should receive emails that are sent to xyz.com, that is the MX record should point to your exchange server
2. You need have accepted domain created for xyz.com
3. You need to stamp the domain xyz.com to the users along with the abc.com
4. And enable journaling at the global level to archive all the emails that are coming in. You cannot journal the email according to the domain name.

Hope this would have explained or given you an idea of how to achieve it

with regards,
VJ

You need a custom transport agent to accomplish this. Custom transport agents are covered in the Exchange SDK. You will need to know a bit of programming; depending on the complexity a lot of programming.

Custom transport agents can go on HT or Edge.
