Dear All,

My legacy users are anot able to access OWA from internet. I will brief my scenario and setup.

At corporate office E2K7 is installed with MB role on Clustering, CAS on NLB, and separet HUB and ET server. All other 10-12 sites have E2K3. All E2K7 servers have SP1 installed and all E2K3 have SP2 installed. None of the E2k3 have SMTP outgoing or incoming. All mails are routed from E2K7 from Corporate. Everything was working perfectly. I installed E2K7 SP2 on one of the node of CAS 4-5 days back. Idont know whether this created the problem or not. yesterday we came across this issue that none of the E2K3 users are able to access OWA from internet. Sometimes the explorer says No Page to display and sometimes "Outlook Web Access could not find a mailbox for DOMAIN\USER. If the problem continues, contact technical support for your organization and tell them the following: The mailbox may be stored on a Microsoft Exchange 2000 or Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, or the Active Directory user account was created recently and has not yet replicated to the Active Directory site where this Client Access server is hosted." Today i googled and found msft article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938444 saying that the Read permission for that users Authenticated users is removed, please enable the Read permission and check. When I checked it worked.

Now the question is:
1. Is the problem because of installing SP2 on one of the node of CAS.
2.A/C to msft article 938444, read permission should be there by default.
3.If SP2 had chenged the read permission, then how to enable for all the users at one go.

Also please share the experience of Installing E2K7 SP2, if any one had done it.
