tnx Mark! i had never had access to http on ex before. now i have to somehow fix https. all that had happened after i tried to clean certificates in iis on ex. I just deleted obsolate (in my opinion) certs. After that i had edge server failed to send messages to ex. I reissued cert for ex (self-signed) and resynced edge. Now it works. After that i deleted certs for ext name (owa.xxxxx.com) and int name (ex.xxxxx.local) - those certs were issued by CA of my local domain. And then i reissued them. And finally came to the problem above. Could u please suggest smth. Maybe i have missed some certs, or issued them incorrectly? now i have 5 certs in iis: 1. ex (self-signed, issued by ex itself) 2. ex (issued by ad) 3. ex.xxxxxx.local (issued by ad) 4. owa.xxxxxxx.com (issued by ad) 5. WM-SvcEx (issued by WM-SvcEx) - i don't know what's this, but i have deleted one already (it was mark as obsolate or smth) they all are also stored in personal certs of a local computer store on ex. quote:
ORIGINAL: mark@mvps.org Forget about Exchange; that's not your problem. Start troubleshooting IIS. Look at what permissions are in place. Why might you be getting the forbidden. Do this troubleshooting using a browser other than the one on the server. Once you've got access back to the base site without error messages or logons etc. etc your Exchange will probably work. If it doesn't you can start the second stage of troubleshooting but only then, not before you've fixed the base site.
