Hopefully someone in this forum can help me.

I'm in the process of building a new Exchange 2010 server in a new Server 2008 R2 Forest. My plan is to have 2 CAS servers (Dell PER610) running on Server 08 R2 which have dual broadcom nics each. I also plan to use MS Network Load Balancing on these servers. Note: No cluster is being considered for this new system.

The HUB Transport and Mailbox server roles will be running on a single Dell R710 server with 1.3TB storage 16CPUs, 32GB of RAM and 2 dual port Broadcom NICS. I would like to use the Broadcom Advance Control Suite to create a Load Balanced Link Aggregation (802.3ad)Team with the four available NIC ports. My switches support LACP so I will be configuring a LAG group on the switch.

My question is this: Is NIC Teaming compatible with Exchange 2010?

I have scoured the Internet looking for an answer but so far have not seen a definitive answer.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't have anything to do with Exchange; that's an application. Is it compat. with Windows? Sure.
All you have to do with Exchange is to make sure that the names on the certificate point to the balanced IPs rather than the hosts.
Bit of common sense and planning and you will have no problems.
