Because the CAS / RPC service has Encryption enabled I found that 2003 does not do this by default.   During migrations the 2010 server will have it enabled and the source 2003/2007 does not will ENABLEING this on client side before moving them have any effect on the older 2003/2007 server that did not use it?  I would hate to have to do a migration and have helpdesk run all around and enable that feature after moving a mailbox and I dont want to disable it on the RPC sever.

Hi, I've the same problem only on Outlook 2003: I have an exchange server 2010 on a windows server 2008 R2 that downloads mail using a pop3 connector (popbeamer) and, when I receive a certified mail (italian PEC) on an Outlook 2003 Sp3 client, I cannot see the xml and eml attachments. The only way to open those files is to forward the mail. The strange thing is that Outlook 2007 Sp2 clients don't have this problem. I also try to send a normal e-mail (not cerified) to this client and it can see and open the attachments. What it is the problem? Thank you for your help!!! Hubert7

I resolved all my issues with this document
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2006508

I did a combination of GPO and PRF.
The PRF is for users that move to other pc's

it all works perfect.

Encryption is most important feature of the server. Because of this facility we server remains secure and also makes to the clients. Encryption of data is more essential now a days because a number of hackers there are which can steal the data or may harmfull for data.

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral
