Hello,

We want to implement the folowing scenario. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how it can be done:

-There are 5 sites.
-Each site will have one physical server with Windows Server 2008 r2 and Exchange 2010.
-Each server will be a DC on a single domain.
-On every site the users will log on to their local DC.
-On every site, each user will connect with the outlook to their local exchange server.
-One server will receive mail via SMTP. There is only need to receive mail for one domain.
-All of the exchange servers will have to replicate with each other.

I drew a Visio:

I red a lot about DAG. But I get the idea that this is more for high availability, not for serving multiple sites.

Please, someone tell me if this is possible.

Kind regards,

Gerjan
