jayoub1 -> Renewing my Certificate (17.Mar.2010 2:28:03 PM)

My Certificate has expired and I am having trouble renewing it. I created the certreq.txt, but when i access the http://server/certsrv web site to create the certificate I get the following error:

No certificate templates could be found. You do not have permission to request a certificate from this CA, or an error occurred while accessing the Active Directory.

I go past the message and brouse to the certreq.txt file and insert, but there is no submit button on the screen.

I am trying to self generate the certificate on the server and dont remember having this problem before.

Should i purchase a Certificate from a CA or should i create it myself? We dont have may users on OWA, but the PDA's use them to connect. I also notice that people using Vista or Windows 7 cannot read emails, so is this caused by the Server 2003 generated certificate.

I am using an article on this site about how to do this and I am stuck.
Please help

Yes, I would recommend getting an external certificate as this will allows internal and external users access to services on the Client Acess servers.
