Hi,

I have 2 windows server 2008 standard edition and I want to deploy exchange 2010 standard edition, so after looking for the requisites it is required to have Windows Server 2008 Enterprise edition...

What should be the best option to perform an Exchange 2010 high avilability infrastructure? Since I have Standard editions, should I look for third party replication software? and in that case, do you have any suggestion?

Thank you in advance,

DAG is supported for Exchange Server 2010 Standard Edition, but you will need Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition as it requires the clustering components built into this version (doesn't do clustering in the traditional sense, just uses components of it).

Regarding 3rd party, there is Marathon Technologies that does a similar thing, but haven't used so you would need to investigate. Also, if you do go down the 3rd party route then look into whether it is supported by Microsoft.
