Hi,

Is there a tools that can generate a report of all mailbox permission from an Exchange 2003 server?

Will the mailbox permissions (such as delegates, send on behalf / send as) be moved across during mailbox migrated onto another Exchange server within/across another Exchange 2003?

Thanks

I donít know of a tool that will generate a report of all the mailbox permissions in Exchange, searching the software section might produce something. You might also try one of the LDAP tools to get this info.

The existing permissions of the mailboxes will propagate across to the new Exchange server as long as the new server is in the same domain. The individual permissions to the mailboxes are controlled in Active Directory and canít be changed at the System Manager level.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

If mailbox is migrated across different Administration Group, will Outlook 2003 automatically the new mail server profile or the Outlook will stay disconnect until manually re-configure the Outlook profile?

Answer: Ideally, it should reconfigure itself, however if it doesn't OL Re-configuration is the last resource, you may want to try playing with PRF Files for automated reconfiguration.

Read the following links.
