Hi,
My exchange server connects diretly to the web and we don't have any problems with send messages with of size until 20MB.
But, we have one problem to one domain, we can send with sucess messages with 1MB or less and when we send messages with more 1MB the external mail server of this domain rejected the messages with message error: 421 4.4.2 connection dropped.
If we send with gmail or other email service the messages of 2MB or more was delivery sucessfuly.
Thank's for your attention!
Regards,
Sérgio

Remote domain must allow the msg which is more than 1MB.You better talk to receipient administrator.

I am facing the exact problem when sending to yahoo. I tried to contact yahoo many times as suggested by bpara with no use.
I'm 100% certain that this is nothing to do with the internet connection

What is the send limit for that(your) database? and also check what is the content in that attachment? That extension might have blocked either from ur end or their end.
