SPAM in subject line - 23.Jul.2010 4:08:16 PM

I have been researching this issue and not found anything specific for Exchange 2007. I have seen that Exchange 2003 and prior do not have the ability to alter the subject line.
I have exchange 2007 running and I am using the anti-spam features. What I need to know is if Exchange is adding the [SPAM] in the subject line, or if it is Barracuda networks?

I do not control the Barracuda filter, but I do have access to the Exchange server. I can't see where that setting might be located.

It is odd to be receiving e-mail marked as spam by a known sender.

Thanks,

Jeff

Exchange isn't doing it unless you've told it to? Did you tell it to? Check any transport rules you may have because that's where it would get appended if anywhere. If you don't have any HT rules related to SCL or other spam type features you can look outside the Exchange for you appending.

Thanks Mark,

I have check HT and there are no transport rules set up. This must mean that [SPAM] is being added by the Barracuda spam filter.

Thanks,

Jeff

Most likely if there are no HUB rules.
