I have a Windows 2003 Active Directory and Exchange 2003 organization.
I am planning to migrate from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010.
I have 64 bit servers for installing Exchnage 2010 servers. I hav not purchased any new 64 bit servers for installing Windows 2008 DCs.

My doubt is, is it possible to install the Exchange 2010(in x64 bit Server) on a Windows 2003 x32 bit Active directory environment?

My plan is below:

1.In my Windows 2003 AD environment, I am going to add the 64 bit Windows 2008 R2 servers as a member server.

2.Then I will Run the Exchange 2010 preparations from this 64 bit server. This will prepare my existing AD environment for Exchange 2010 installtions.

3.Then I will install the Exchange 2010 servers in coexistence with exchange 2003 servers.

Please tell me whether Exchange 2010 servers can work with Windows 2003 AD servers. because I am not going to install any Windows 2008 AD servers now.
