Hi all, Exchange 2007 & Outlook 2k3. I have three dummy accounts for scheduling rooms. I give myself full access permissions in Exchange, add the mailboxes to my outlook and only two of the three open. One gives me "Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the specified folder location." Another user is able to open these with no problem. I create a test user account in ADUC with a mailbox etc. Grant this new test user account the same permissions. This new user can open all three of the above accounts. Cached exchange mode is disabled. I googled the issue, couldn't really find anything. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rob

Things that I am trying... I went into control panel/mail - deleted and recreated (with a new name) the email profile. Still have the same problem. If I try to open the folder I get: Outlook_1835014_Q291609 This error usually appears if the OST or PST file you are using is: - Unavailable
- Protected with file permissions
- On a share on a server and the network is down
- Corrupt
To correct this problem, store the OST or PST file on the local computer. You may also want to run the scanost.exe and scanpst.exe tools to verify file integrity. I looked for an OST file, cannot find one (probably because of disabling of cached mode. I scanned the PST file I am using and they are fine. Weird - when I try to open the other mailbox, up in the address box I get a outlook:0000000038A1BB1005E5101AA1B....<whole string of a giant number> Any idea what that could be? This doesn't happen with other folders/mailboxes... Thanks, Rob

Yes - OWA opens fine. What I need though is access to all these mailboxes (plus my own). As another test - I gave another user the exact same permissions, and the mailbox opened just fine. Rob

Hi. If the OWA is working fine. there is no issue found in the particular mailbox What permission did you give to your's? Full mailbox access.????? then try...open outlook....Tools - Option --- Delegation TAB - Please provide or add your user name from the test mailbox . and then try open from the your outlook and check....

I gave full permissions from the Exchange 2007 box. Also did your suggestion - logged in as the third conference room, set myself as a delegate for everything and tried again - still not working. I am convinced that there is something in my user profile (or registry etc) - I am going to recreate my user account and try again. Rob
