Hi Guys

Hope you can shed some light on this one for me, Markus wrote a great article on it but i would like to take it a step further

I have a client who is looking at moving from a single server to a DAG cluster. Currently exchnage is on a standard edition of Windows 2008 R2

purchase of a new server is out of question so i need to juggle roles around with what i have

i labbed a standard to enterprise upgrade with exchnage enteprise installed and for most part of it it was Ok

i only fell into an issue with powershell VD being hosed, could not repair it by removing it or recreating it. owa, ecp, ews seemed to be ok. i had an IIS backupbefore the upgrade which i restored and all was hunky doory

so....
my question is, has anyone perfromed this succesfully? was there any other issues with it?

most of all, would you take taht route at all?

Looking forward to your imput

Kind regards

ZH

I too am curious if this will work. We are in a similar boat.
