I know full functionality of DAG is not available with win2k8 standard, but can you do anything with DAG on 2 exchange 2010 servers on 2008 standard? manual failover or anything?

I really do not want to have to uninstall exchange, upgrade to enterprise and reinstall.

Thanks!

DAG needs server enterprise.
On the Exchange side, if you NEED to go to Enterprise Edition for some reason (other than DAG which is fine with STD) then you can just change the product key upwards to Enterprise. You cannot go back to STD after taking this action. Upgrading your Exchange to Enterprise is a one way street.

Thanks John. We already have Exchange Enterprise. We did the project in small pieces and it totally slipped by us that the servers only had 2008 server standard on them.

Argh... what a PITA
