Hi there,

I have a question about RUS for exchange 2003.  Right now the Recipient Update Service (Enterprise Configuration) and recipient Update Service (Domain) are both pointing to Domain controller A.  This domain controller will be decommisioned soon and I want to point to Domain controller B.  Do I just manaully change it to B by going to the properties?  Or once I reboot the exchange servers and it will auto discover the B domain controller.

Thanks

Modifications to the recipient update service are manual! Before decommissioning ServerA, go into the properties of the RUS and change both enterprise and domain RUS to point to an alternate domain controller (one that is a global catalog server). You may also want to verify if the Offline Address Lists do not point to a domain controller (can't really remember E2K3 interface off the top of my head).

Thanks de.blackman!  I just checked the Offline Address Lists and it's pointing to the exchange server and not a domain controller.
