Similar to the previous post - but slightly diferent environment.

Our EX2010 CAS server has been setup with the external and exchange2003 URLs. the exchange2003url points to our 2003 front-end server, which has forms-based authentication enabled, and the logon.asp changed to include the domain name.

If a user with a 2003 mailbox uses the 2003 URL then it works normally.

If a user with a 2010 mailbox logs on to the 2010 URL then it works normally.

If a user with a 2003 mailbox logs on to the 2010 URL, then the redirect to the 2003 URL works, but the user is not logged on automatically. Instead, they see the normal OWA 2003 screen you would see if you entered the wromng password - with the words:

'You could not be logged on to Outlook Web Access. Make sure your Username and password are correct, and then try again'

in red, and the url changed to:

'https://webmail.domain.co.uk/exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp?url=https://webmail.domain.co.uk/exchange&reason=2'

How can I get the automatic logon to work?

Thanks

Adrian.

Think this is the answer;

http://forums.msexchange.org/m_1800529358/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#1800529799

The account I was using for testing had a 'special character' (ie the '@' sign) in the password.
