First of all, What is PopCorn??? In order to be able to send emails externally, you need to configure a send connector and have it use DNS to resolve MX records or if you are setup to use a smarthost, then configure the connector to send all messages to the smarthost.

If you confused about MX records, then I really do not think you should be managing the Exchange organization!! How much experience do you have with Exchange 2007?? Who configured the environment? Is this production or a test environment?

Some ISP's demand you send email through their dedicated Smart Host. Could that be it? If so, recreate your Send Connector of the type "Custom" and specify Smart Host delivery.

If the Send Connector type is Internet it will try DNS MX-lookup instead of the specified Smart Host.
