What is the error code you are receiving?

Also make sure you have created the Receive Connector in EMC, Server Configuration, Hub Transport.

I think you need to be using IIS7.

Look in the event logs and find the event error from the time period you are trying to access the EMC. Most likely the error will be in the applications log. This will help resolve the issue. I Windows server 2008 R2 Exchange 2010 I there isn't a SMTP service like there was in Exchange 2003 so that doesn't have to be started; but make sure the Exchange Transport service is running. This is where the SMTP services is controlled. Do a Google search "Exchange 2010 Receive Connector" and you should be able to find a tutorial or KB for this process. Cheers,
