Hi All,
I'm attempting to install Exchange 2010 on a 2008 x64 on a along with an existing exchange 2007 server domain member

Server and I'm receiving the following error when running the readiness checks:
I get passed the Hub, Mailbox and language but gets the below error for CAS Role:

"The nominated exchange server for offline address book 'Default Offline Address Book' has been deleted. Nominate a

valid server and restart setup."

It seems like there was a server before with Exchange 2003 but for some reasons have been removed from the domain.I

also have its "Default Offline Address List" with the old server name mentioned in the OAB tab in the Org configuration of

the Exchange 2007 EMC.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks
Kevin Gomes

Are there any mailbox database on pointing to the OAB? if not, you will need to.

Go to ADSIEdit and see if there are any reference of Exchange 2003 in there.

Hi Choppol,

Thanks for the reply.

I m able to see a reference of the Exchange 2003 in the ADSIEDIT. However there is also another OAB list that has been created and made as the Default. So I believe that the existing mailbox database are pointed to the newly created OAB which is set to default.
