Hi - Can some one tell me how I can get the X500 address of one user, remove it and add it to another please!

Or, if you'd be so kind, you may have a different solution - here's what I need to do:

I have one account that all users currently e-mail (it support). We're going to a new call logging system so have to use a new mailbox (long story) which I've set up. I want this to be seemless for the users so they still e-mail the old IT Support address (as is cached in their Outlook) but it goes to the new account/mailbox I've created (It Support2 for example).

I was thinking I'd just give the new mailbox the smtp and x500 adress currently used by the old one but I can't seem to find out how to do this.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can add the X500 of the old mailbox to the new one. To lookup the X500 you might you adsiedit and copy the legacyexchangedn and simply add it as an extra X500 address by using the Exchange Management Console.

Yeah, looks like that's the way to do it - thanks.
