I have a remote site "site1" running 2003 SBS (exchange 2003) hosting domain A.
"Site2" runs exchange 2007 hosting the mx for domain B.

Domain A is used as our main public facing email address. "Site2" picks up email using pop3 and pulls it into exchange mailboxes hosted on exchange 2007 on "site2".

Trouble we are having is that users at "site2" are accidently reply using domain B which is the primary domain for exchange 2007.

I cannot make the remotely hosted domain A the primary email address on exchange 2007 as its remote.

Ways around this:
Thinking of setting up a new primary email address at "site2" i.e adding a domain C that is more closly related to domain A i.e domainA.net.

Can someone with more experience suggest any other ways to get around this issue ?

Thank you.

Linked mailboxes, perhaps ?

It is a little confusing but what exactly are you trying to accomplish? If this is the same organization, why do you have two different organizations? When you use the word "Site", do you mean another physical location for the same company or are you actually referring to 2 different entities? Is this the same AD? Why not have the mail go directly to "Site2"?

Please try and provide more detail!!

Site A active dir internal domain 1 (business 1)
Site B active dir internal domain 2 (business 2)
But both using same email domain (domain A)
Both have exchange servers to support other organisations

Site B picks up email from Site A (domain A) using POP3.

Site B sends email as (DOMAIN A)

Was simply looking for an alternative to POP3 but linking the exchange servers somehow to POP3 accounts can be removed from users outlook at SITEB.

Why the organisations are like this is not important. Simply have 2 exchange servers 100s of mile appart , simply wondering if its possible (and if so how) to link exchange servers so users can drop the POP3 collection accounts.

Sorry for any confusion.
