I'm relatively new to Exchange and need to know if there is anyway to setup a mailbox so that it does not accept new messages but can send an autoresponder that has an indication of the person's absence.

Is something like that possible and if so, how do I set it up?

Thanks in advance,

C.

Looks like maybe Transport Rules are the way to go? My only concern would be sending the bounce message and obviously having a bunk return address for the bounce.

Any suggestions or thoughts on if Transport Rules are what I should use?
