I followed this guide on moving our mail store to a new server: http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Moving-Exchange-Server-2007-database-Mailbox-servers.html everything worked fine up until i had to mount the database again, on that site at Figure 10: Moving the configuration for all the mailboxes from srv-mbx01\sales to srv-mbx02\sales The mailbox wont mount and i get this error (attached code snippet) I read over some KB articles and a few post on here talking about http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925825 One suggestion is Method 2: Add the Exchange Servers group to the "Manage auditing and security log" policy But i can not locate that option on my domain controllers so i cant add anyone to that policy, assuming that is the problem, i have 3 DC's, replication is working correctly. Anyone have any suggestions? Setup: Windows Server 2008 x64 DC's (3) Exchange 2007 SP1 x64 (Mail-Exch01 Exchange 2007 SP1 x64 (Mail-Exch03) <--- hnew server Microsoft Exchange Error

Well, looks like i fixed it. I had created a directory on F:\DataStore\FSG\file.edb it would not mount, i then decided, why not use the exchange "Move Database Path" maybe it will change something. So i created a new directory F:\DataStore\ and moved the file there, it moved succesfully and and the file now mounts.

You may try the following steps: 1. Create a backup of your MailboxDB folder. 2. Execute "eseutil.exe /mh database.edb" to check and verify that database is in the 'Clean Shutdown' state. If database is in Dirty shutdown state, here is a solution to fix this error: Tips to Fix Exchange Dirty Shutdown Error 3. Go EMC => Organization =>> Mailbox =>> open your mailbox database properties and enable checkbox "Database can be overwritten on restore". 4. Try to Mount.
