It there a tool for exchange which can show you the route a message will take through your org (i.e. simulate the hops and connectors it will go through?)

We have a large environment and I find it quite hard to assess this information and work out exacly how a message will be routed - it theres a tool that would help that would be great!

Exchange 2007 comes with the Routing Log Viewer which display smtp connectors and routing information for messages for any for Hub Transport servers.

Not sure if this tool comes with Exchange 2010 but look in the Toolbox section for the Exchange Management Console.

NB: In Exchange 2003, it was called WinRoute.
