need some help here, as a test i suspended my database and tried to update the database but run into this error... I checked for the search service and its started

The error message is saying that You need to suspend the DatabaseCopy before updating it.
Run the Below command to suspend the DadabaseCopy and run the Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy command

Suspend-MailboxDatabaseCopy -Identity DBName\MBXServer -SuspendComment "Maintenance on MBXServer" -Confirm:$False

Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy <databasename>\<server name> -DeleteExistingFiles
