Last Sunday, I installed SP3 on Exchange 2007 x64. I had SP1. Everything was working fine. After SP3, Exchange crashed. I called Microsoft and worked with them 10 hours. I can get e-mails in the office behind the firewall. OWA works. No outside users can use auto discover. We have a unified certificate for the server name and mail name.

Name Server CertPrincipalName TTL
---- ------ ----------------- ---
EXCH tape.americorpus... msstd:mail.ameri... 1
EXPR msstd:mail.ameri... 1
WEB tape.americorpus... msstd:mail.ameri... 1

I get no SSL tab. OWA works and the same certificate is on each object under the Default Web Site. I did notice the internal URL and external URL were missing on several site.

Microsoft removed Exchange and IIS settings. Used ADSIedit to clean up the msss. How do I get Autodiscover working?

First thing, i would like to know what is the error message you are getting when accessing OWA externally.

Second you need to set the External URL on the server.
Is happening with old users or with new users? With all of them or with some of the users?

Test the connectivity

I have it down to the autodiscover certificate error and missing SSL tab in outlook providers. I have a GoDaddy unified certificate for the Exchange 2007. It does not have autodiscover.americorpusa.com in it. It was working before SP3. I do have a wildcard certificate I could add for autodiscover.

I also noticed the SSL tab for get-outlookproviders is missing.

You mean to say, you have resolved the issue?
Cause as per your first post, you have mentioned that OWA and Outlook is not working for outside users.

Yes, I went through 20+ forum and google searches on each error. I still have a few errors in test-outlookwebservices. Outlook is working but gets an allow certificate message. I fixed autodiscover to this point with adding autodiscover to _tcp under the external DNS domain. I fixed the autodiscover entry.

Microsoft has contacted me so I will let them get the other errors fixed.

Did you try to recreate Virtual Directories.
I was working with one of my client yesterday on Autodiscover issue and at the end we found that it was Host Record in DNS for the server which was causing the problem.

We deleted the Host entry of Autodiscover from the DNS server and it worked fine.
