Hi,

Ive got a fresh OWA installation and I had hoped that I would be able to access Hotmail, etc, through the web app, but I can't. Is there something I have to configure for this, or does it depend on my version of exchange?

Thanks,
Sam

Umm you want to use OWA to access Hotmail??? You cannot connect your Exchange mailbox to your hotmail account!! That is not how exchange works.

Thanks for the reply,

I know how exchange works, but I read somewhere that you can have your exchange mail in owa as well as hotmail and other pop mail accounts. Ill try and find the link for you.

I was starting to doubt myself to weather I had actually seen this feature, and I thought I must I dreamt about it, but I have finally found it: http://207.46.16.237/en-us/140/ms.exch.ecp.connectedaccounts.aspx

I don't know why there is an IP address though?

Unfortunately you are mistaken ! This is a feature that applies to Office 365 and not Exchange as it clearly states in the link First line (Applies to: Office 365 Beta for professionals and small businesses, Office 365 Beta for enterprises, Live@edu)

This feature is not available in Exchange and it is not how Exchange works!

And by the way the IP address corresponds to this URL: http://help.outlook.com/en-us/140/cc511377.aspx

Ah. Sorry about that. Got my hopes up then :(
