tjmicro -> Parse text from body to subject (27.Apr.2011 1:07:58 AM)

Is there a way to parse text from the body of an email to the subject line before the email ends up in the recipients mailbox?
(Win2008SBS, Exchange 2007)

We are using an application that sends email with service requests, ex:

Subject:
Antivirus not up-to-date
Body:
Problem: Antivirus definitions older than 14 days
Company: TheCompany
Workstation: WKS001

What we would like to see is something like this:

Subject:
TheCompany\WKS001 : Antivirus not up-to-date
Body:
Problem: Antivirus definitions older than 14 days
Company: TheCompany
Workstation: WKS001

i.e. get the company name and workstation name on the subject line. I have tried to use Transport Rules but I find regular expressions very limited in Exchange.

Is there a way to achieve this? Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

There are no built-in tools to do what you want.
You should hire a programmer.
