I don't use RPC over HTTP, which is what I heard could cause the prompt. The CAS server isn't changing. I thought Outlook was supposed to try and reconnect, not prompt users for a password while it reconnects. It doesn't "ride through" the disturbances like I thought it would, and EVERYONE is alerted to a database failover.

i know, the Online Services Sign in does NOT support Outlook for Mac 2011 yet.. (how lame this is, btw). Anyway, any success stories / how-tos or tutorial that explains how to configure Outlook for Mac 2011 with Exchange Online? Couldn't be that hard!? i tried it and i always get: Unexpected data was encountered.
