How many devices should be allowed to sync from a mailbox? We have many users who have 2 devices. Now, users are asking for entire groups to sync a resource/shared Exchange mailbox to their mobile devices via activesync.

I'm concerned that this will cause performance issues for the resource mailbox and for other mailbox users in general. Also, is there any official Microsoft guidance/documentation about this?

Regards,
Jeff

My only worry would be multiple devices deleting, moving and forwarding the same message and where the heck it ends up after a bunch of folk have touched it. That way lies madness.

In terms of IOPS impact. Feh. You got bigger worries in deciding what to have for dinner tonight.
