the AD accounts camrec1 and camrec2 do not have email accounts associated with them.

This does not happen when you send an email.
I am getting very confused.
Thanks in advance

If they do not have email addresses on them. how are you able to send emails to them?? Can you try sending the appointment from OWA?

Thanks for the fast response!

Sorry is I didn't make myself clear..

If for example, auser@mydomain.com emails camrec@mydomain.com, camrec receives the email and auser does not receive any failure messages.

But if auser@mydomain.com sends a calender appointment to camrec@mydomain.com, then the error message stated occurs.

At no point do I try to email send appointments to camrec1 and camrec2.

I hope that makes it a little clearer.

Check the camrec mailbox and see if those accounts have been given delegated rights to it. Sounds like camrec1 and camrec2 were accounts previously existing but no longer are in AD. Yes you have to create an Outlook profile for camrec and check the delegation. Also you may want to open the properties of the calendar in Outlook and check the permissions tab to make sure these accounts are not listed.
